Abuse and pain have been a part of me too long.
I am going to forgive the wrong.
Scalpel in hand, cancer in sight,
I'm going to cut away this blight.
Wholeness and peace I will feel once more,
As the tides go in and out on my emotional shore.
I run, I escape, I've learned to fight once more.
