The Big Blue

In the inky depths of the Big Big Blue,
Reside Poseidon and his army of a million or two.

The armies are specters of old salts and more,
Who have found their way to the ocean floor.

They scour the Blue for souls to take,
Cradling their bodies on the Big Blues wake.

For man has robbed the Blue for far too long,
Raping and pillaging the life from her that's her song.

Followed by maidens in gowns of flowing seaweed,
Ready to record each and every deed.

Deep down they swim to Poseidon's home,
Bringing the new specters to the place they will eternally roam.

Their sadness is written upon each wave that crashes to the shore,
Not to be seen by their loved ones evermore.

Poseidon's bidding they now must do,
Carrying out each mission given by the Big Big Blue.

Dwelling forever in the inky depths of the sea,
Visions in dreams of being free..that will never be.

The ocean crashing upon the shore,
The Big Blue settling the score...once more.
